

Danielle Bero was born in Queens to hippie parents, given a dose of Shel Silverstein, Tupac, Jazz & classic rock. Danielle is a Posse and Fulbright scholar and co-founded a school for students in foster-care. With a master’s in English Education, Educational Leadership & an MFA from the University of San Francisco, she’s a Jack Straw Cultural Fellow and published in Lavender Review, Juked and Divine Feminist, Aunt Flo anthologies. Fruit Loops is her debut as a screenwriter/director. Former public high school principal in Brooklyn now working in School Improvement, looking to bring the arts to the forefront.
